Ages 10-13
Description: We will sail round trip from Shilshoal Marina June 20-22. This 100+ year old schooner was built in Maine in 1913 and has been lovingly restored to her glory by Sound Experience (soundexp.org). The crew will keep the YETI sailors on their toes learning about navigation, setting sails, steering the ship, caretaking the vessel, standing Anchor Watch at night, and learning about Puget Sound.

Ages 6-10
Description: A wild nature infused adventure day camp with a focus on awareness and survival skills. The kids will explore by tracking wild animals and learning about native edible plants. Practicing inquisitive play will be a common theme for each day. When the kids' interest is sparked, the instructors will allow for an emergent and creative learning format. Each week will be loaded with fun games, building survival huts, nature art, free sense exploration and always a bit of mystery. Our teams success relies on practicing a safe, inclusive, socially healthy, positive environment. Every day involves a field trip with lots of outdoor time.

What is YETI?
Using outdoor adventure experiences, we teach essential life skills, promote self confidence and foster a love of the outdoors. We also employ experiential learning for team building and to develop emotional/social intelligence which has proven to promote academic success back in the traditional classroom setting.
We offer open enrollment, co-ed programs to youth from all social, cultural and economic backgrounds.
Our hope is that all participants emerge a stronger, more confident version of their previous selves.
The hope is to create lasting bonds between peers, develop appreciation for natural environments and promote healthy relationships with family members, teachers and other adults.
Our programs serve grades K-12 with a variety of adventure and challenge style learning programs.
