What do you do with a 10 year old girl and her 13 year old brother during the dog days of summer?
I NEEDED a break this week to catch up on work, breathe, not hear them fighting or asking to play Fortnite!
My answer: Throw them in Rock Camp - Specifically I Heart the 80's Rock Camp at School of Rock West Seattle. Easily the best decision I've made all summer.
These two "little darlings" will be playing the bass, guitar, bongos and maracas on stage to hits by the Violent Femmes + Modern English + Fleetwood Mac and more at the awesome local live music venue - the Skylark Cafe this Friday night. Seriously, whats cooler than that?

Green Day Summer Camp ( August 19th-23rd)
Do you want to learn how to play in a band or learn to write songs? School of Rock West Seattle offers a wide variety of music camps and workshops that cover topics such as these. Our local music camps are perfect for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals.
Campers should have a basic proficiency on their instrument. Ages 8-18.
Camps run 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am to 2 pm Friday with a concert at a local venue at 5 pm.
