Music & Arts Music Lessons: Upping our Game with Foundational Skills

So here's the situation, my girl LOVES learning new instruments. She will sit for hours in her room learning online how to play those instruments. However, there's only so much you can learn on your own when it comes to foundational skills and the violin.

That's where Music & Arts expert instruction has saved the day!

  • Lessons are scheduled around our schedule and are online and in person.
  • Our violin instructor started the first lesson by asking my girl what SHE wanted to learn!  Our kids don't often get to drive their education curriculum. By adapting the lessons to skills the student is interested in,  Music & Arts Instructors are able to motivate and engage their students.
  • Our instructor started off with simple foundational skills: how to hold the bow and violin, ways to strengthen fingers for a better grip. With patient practice and suggestion from the Music and Arts instructor, my girl now has the proper grip on her bow and has the violin resting comfortably on her shoulder, all things she would get frustrated with prior to her lesson!
  • Directly after the lesson we received an email with suggested practice, including images to help further understanding of instrument hold based on where they felt my girl needed more practice.

I cannot wait to witness my daughters' skill development and confidence build from these Music & Arts Lessons!
