This year, WestSide Baby, with the help of our partner agencies, has reached more children than ever. Since unemployment rates in our community skyrocketed in April, to families still not having full and safe access to childcare or school this fall, we continue to rapidly respond to this basic needs emergency.

With community support, we are going to distribute over 2 million diapers by the end of the year.
Every year, we see an increased need in our community during November and December. This year is no different as families contend with the impacts of COVID-19. The weather gets colder, and families on a limited income stretch their dollars to keep their little ones warm.

Give Warmth, through donation drives!
This winter, you can keep children in our community warm, healthy, and full of joy through simple gifts like winter coats and diapers!
We provide support to you during your drive, including posters, content for emails to family and friends, and collection bins!
You can virtually host a drive while safely social distancing! It is simple - sign up to host a drive, share our Amazon Wish List with your community, and the basic for children will be delivered right to our White Center Hub!

About WestSide Baby
WestSide Baby meets the basic needs of children to promote safety, security & healthy development. We provide essential items to keep children safe, warm and dry by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing and equipment. The community donates new and gently used children’s items for babies and children up to age 12 and we ensure they are clean, checked and safe to distribute back out to a new family.
In 2019 we distributed over 1.5 million diapers to families in need, and served over 20,000 children in western King County. WestSide Baby’s model is unique. We receive donations from the community, check and sort those donations, and distribute them directly to 114 partner agencies, who are experts in their families, and the children they serve. These professionals get the items the children need, and WestSide Baby can focus on collecting the basic essentials.
